Pro Master machete
Description
Machete type cane made of 420 steel. This type of machete, originating from South America, was used mainly for cutting sugar cane, corn or bamboo. During World War II, machetes with this profile were used by American infantry during battles on the jungle islands of the Pacific. The characteristic sharpened hook at the end of the head allows you to grip the plant stem, and is also ideal for removing small twigs and twigs on tree trunks. The rather thick blade (3.5 mm) makes it useful not only on sugar cane plantations but also in the forest. The sharpened section of the blade starts one and a half centimeters above the handle and ends 43 mm from the tip, this 4 centimeter section remains blunt. The cane-type point is beveled and is not suitable for piercing, but it could be sharpened or at least ground into a false edge. Then it could be used as a shovel. The machete has a very comfortable polymer handle with paracord at the end. Of course, most of the string visible in the photos should be cut off and only the wrist loop should be left - absolutely necessary in the case of heavy knives and machetes. Nylon sheath with a belt loop.
WithArmour (not to be confused with Under Armor) is a Chinese company that produces fixed-blade knives, pocket knives and outdoor equipment such as multigears, flashlights, etc. Completely unknown in Poland, in Russia its products are distributed by the Moscow company NOKS. WithArmour makes sensible knives, made of good material (mainly 440C, but not only), decently put together and based on their own, original designs. For example, I have never come across a pocket knife with an unsurprising liner lock or the so-called "dancing blade" (blade play). You can find videos of tests of their products on YouTube. As for brand knives, they have a very good price-quality ratio.
