N690 steel: Forest-1 full tang
Description
The blade is made of steel produced by the Austrian company Böhler Uddeholm. Although N690 has been on the market for a relatively short time, it has already secured a high position among materials for mid-range and high-end knives. The blade offered here comes from the forge of Andrei Prikazchikov, one of the best blacksmiths from the Pavlovo-Vorsma region, a knifemaking basin in Novgorod.
The blade is in a raw (unsharpened) state. It features a high hollow partial grind, with a hardness of 61 HRC.
