Machete 1 (stainless steel, elastron handle)
Description
A heavy machete with an elastron handle. Clearly referencing the "Taiga" knife-machete, iconic in Russia, which was designed as a multifunctional tool for chopping, cutting, and even digging. Due to its weight and size, knives of this type are not really suitable for carrying on a belt, but they can be carried strapped to a backpack. Besides, it's good to have such a tool in a car when going on a camping trip.
A "Taiga" clone produced by Siomina company is made using hidden tang technology (the tang running the entire length of the handle is cast in elastron). The blade is made of stainless steel, matte finish. At the base of the blade there is a manufacturer's logo with the inscription"Ручная работа 65х13".The handle has a hole for a wrist loop, which the "Taiga" lacks. Like all IP Siomina products, the knife has a very aesthetically pleasing leather sheath with decorative embossing.
