Description
A hand-forged Damascus steel axe with a decorated haft made of fine Karelian birch wood. It features differential hardening: the bit and a 2 cm area from the cutting edge are hardened to 60-61 HRC, while the rest of the head is tempered down to 30 HRC at the poll. The entire haft is crafted from prized Karelian birch, featuring copper rings and a cord wrap on the grip.
