KLM summer camo suit syevyer pattern
Description
An inexpensive summer camouflage suit in the Russian "syevyer" pattern. A lightweight camouflage suit consisting of a hooded jacket and trousers in the "syevyer" (Russian: север - north) camouflage. The acronym KLM stands for Kostium Letni Maskujący (костюм летний маскировочный), or Summer Camouflage Suit.
The top has a center zip-up front. Two pockets on the front of the jacket, with no button fastening. The sleeve cuffs have elastic drawstrings. The hood is fixed and not detachable.
The trousers have an elastic waistband and elastic drawstrings at the leg cuffs. Two slanted, open side pockets at the front.
The entire suit is made of a lightweight, crease-resistant cotton fabric with a weight of 160 gr/m².
The KLM is not a concealment oversuit (a so-called maskchałat). Oversuits are more spacious and baggy because, firstly, they are sometimes worn over a uniform, and secondly, their purpose is to break up the regular outline of a soldier's silhouette.
Only small sizes for a height of 170 cm are available:
