KLM summer camo suit moss pattern

An inexpensive summer camouflage suit in the Russian "Mokh" pattern, similar to the Western A-TACS. This lightweight camouflage suit consists of a hooded jacket and trousers in the "Mokh" (Russian: мох, meaning Moss) camouflage. This particular version is the so-called "White Mokh," featuring light-colored patches. The "Green Mokh" variant is practically identical to A-TACS. The abbreviation KLM stands for "Kostyum Letni Maskiruyushchiy" (костюм летний маскировочный), meaning Summer Camouflage Suit.

The jacket has a full-length front zipper. There are two front pockets on the jacket, without button closures. The sleeve cuffs have elastic gathers. The hood is fixed and cannot be detached.

The trousers feature an elastic waistband and elastic gathers at the leg cuffs. There are two unfastened, slanted side pockets at the front.

The entire set is made from a lightweight, crease-resistant cotton fabric with a weight of 160 g/m².

The KLM is not a camouflage over-suit (known as a "maskhalat"). Over-suits are baggier and more spacious, firstly because they are sometimes worn over a standard uniform, and secondly, because their purpose is to break up the regular silhouette of a soldier.
