Description

A foldable but solid stainless steel melee weapon designed by the Spanish company Martinez Albainox. It consists of a 3-piece threaded aluminum shaft with a total length of 136.5 cm and a screwed stainless steel blade (thickness 4.5 mm, length: blade itself 30 cm, with handle 42.5 cm). Put together, it resembles the good old Russian rohatyn, i.e. a heavy spear with a crossbar at the head, with which our sturdy ancestors used to go hunting bears. The set includes a leather sheath for the blade/head and a leather packaging for transporting the shaft parts. Tools for spearing game are available on the Spanish market, apparently the local hunting law does not prohibit it. It is illegal in our country, so the practical use of this toy will have to wait for the zombie invasion. Weight of the shaft with sheath 1136 gr, blade with sheath 688 gr. The photos below are real photos of one of the items I have in stock, the last photo comes from the manufacturer's catalog.

The K25 brand belongs to the Spanish company Martinez Albainox, once one of the largest knife manufacturers in Spain. Today, Albainox still designs its own knives, grouped into several registered model lines, but has moved almost all production to China. However, these are still branded products, which means that there is someone who cares about their quality. In such a system, the place of production ceases to be a disadvantage and becomes an advantage, because it allows us to offer an excellent price-quality ratio. Albainox knives are mostly made of Chinese industrial steel, in this particular case 7Cr17MoV, which can be a great steel, close to D2 in terms of characteristics, or a worthless piece of crap like in cheap no-name products from AliExpress.
