Hunter axe
Description
Hand-forged axe made of 9XC steelХСon an ornamented handle made of precious Karelian birch wood. 9XC steel, which includes silicon and chromium alloying elements, is an excellent (but also very demanding) material for knives and axes. Such products must be forged (therefore, forging marks are often intentionally left on the surface) and require careful heat treatment, but they are distinguished by high hardness, cutting aggression with higher corrosion resistance than other carbon steels, although they are not completely stainless. The axe is hand-forged, smoothly ground and decorated with gold-plated engraving. The handle is entirely made of expensive Karelian birch, carved on one side.
