Description
Dagestani hatchet made of 65G steel in a full-tang configuration. On the blade, near the handle, you can see metal protrusions – these are not attached overlays. The hatchet is forged, and they form a monolith with the tang and the blade. The entire tool is made of 65G steel covered with powder paint that has been heat-cured in a curing oven. The coating has a slightly rough texture and provides excellent corrosion protection. Wooden tang scales, fastened with four screws, can be easily replaced. The axe is sold together with an elegant leather blade cover. The only drawback is the weight – the tang is 6 mm thick, making the axe weigh 1080 g. The cover has a belt loop allowing the axe to be hung on a belt, but given this weight, it is impractical to carry it this way anyway.
