Granit load-bearing system (squad leader variant)

Combat load-bearing system for a soldier armed with a Kalashnikov assault rifle, in a squad leader variant (additional radio pouch). The Granit set includes a full (not mesh) load-bearing vest with MOLLE straps, a set of pouches for the vest, a 25l assault backpack, and a 7l breadbag attached to the vest below the backpack. The vest is fastened at the front with four fastex buckles (1 large and 3 smaller ones). The backpack has wide shoulder straps, an internal, Velcro-closed, flat pocket for documents, and two side pockets (with drainage holes at the bottom). The side pockets are point-mounted; in the picture, this is indicated by two sticks inserted between the pockets and the backpack compartment. The width of the openings between the pocket mountings is dimensioned so that it is ideally suited for inserting and carrying an RPG-7 (Pучной Противотанковый Γранатомёт 7; Polish military designation RGppanc-7) round. MOLLE straps on the backpack surface.

The vest set includes:

• 2 double AK pouches (with tightening straps to eliminate the revealing rattling of magazines against each other)

• 2 double AK pouches (with tightening straps to eliminate the revealing rattling of magazines against each other) with additional side pockets for a signal flare

• 4 hand grenade pouches

• 2 universal pouches typeИПП (индивидуальный перевязочный пакет),theoretically for dressings.

All pouches are closed from the top with flaps secured with Velcro and a snap button. All have drainage holes at the bottom. Pouches can be selected and arranged on the platform according to individual preferences. The Granit set was developed by order of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. It was used in separatist combat units in Ukraine. The photographs presented come from the manufacturer's website and show the Granit in black.
