Goliath 2 Axe
Description
A forged double-bitted axe on an ash wood haft. The head is made of chromium-alloyed steel, but the chromium content is below the stainless threshold, meaning the blade requires proper maintenance and care. Edge hardness is 56-58 HRC. Both sides of the head feature a laser-etched pattern (shallow laser engraving), matching the design on the 51 cm hard ash wood haft. Both the shallow engraving on the metal and the pyrography on the haft were made using CNC machines. The axe comes with a buttoned leather sheath/mask featuring an embossed pattern and a large belt loop at the back. The axe is fully functional (hardened), though operating it one-handed requires above-average strength.
