Description
A shoulder patch for the field uniform of FSB counter-terrorism units, like Alpha Group and the spetsnaz of the Russian Federation Border Service, which organizationally are also part of the FSB. Dimensions: 7.5 x 10 cm (measured horizontally and vertically at the widest points). The symbolism is clear: the letter A for Alpha Group, the first specialized counter-terrorism formation, is superimposed on the shield-and-sword of the revolution, the traditional symbol of the Cheka-GPU-MGB-KGB-FSB. The patch is embroidered with green thread on a black field. It is sold together with a velcro panel.
