Description
A shoulder patch for the field uniform of FSB counter-terrorism units, which all come from so called Alpha Group – the first specialized counter-terrorism outfit that was established within the organizational structure of KGB in 1974. The symbolism is clear: the letter A for Alpha Group is superimposed on the shield-and-sword of the revolution, the traditional symbol of the Cheka-GPU-MGB-KGB-FSB. Dimensions: 7.2 x 9,2 cm (measured horizontally and vertically at the widest points). The patch is sold together with a velcro panel.
